Lemon Garlic Pork Chops


1 clove minced garlic
2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp dried Italian herb mix
1/4 tsp salt
Pinch ground nutmeg
Pinch paprika
Pinch white pepper
4 pork chops
1/4 cup water


  1. In resealable plastic bag, combine everything but meat and water. Add pork chops to marinade, seal bag and refrigerate for 1 or more hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Place chops with marinade in a 9×13 pan or glass dish. Carefully pour 1/4 c. water around (not over) chops.
  4. Cover with foil and bake for one hour.
