Cheesy Shepherd’s Pie


1 lb ground beef
8 cups mashed potatoes
2 cans corn
2 qt bag shredded cheese (I recommend the 3 cheese blend)


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Brown the ground beef
  3. Boil 1-bag of red potatoes to desired firmness
  4. In 4-qt casserole dish, alternate layers:  First layer the ground beef, then layer 1/3 of the shredded cheese.  Next, layer the corn (both cans).  Add another layer of 1/3 of the shredded cheese.  Then, a layer of mashed potatoes. Lastly, put the remainder of the cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese melts
