Calli and her mother write every story, including the many adventures of a celiac mouse named Swheats who relates to the children and helps them learn that they don’t have to feel inferior for eating differently. Calli bases Swheats’ stories on her own experiences and those of her three sisters – all of whom have celiac disease.
