The Chef to Plate Campaign
This is a grass-roots campaign designed to help spread awareness of gluten sensitivities to people all over the world using restaurants that offer gluten-free menu options. This campaign is run at no cost to restaurants. We simply ask them to post educational materials detailing facts and statistics about gluten sensitivities during the month of May—National Celiac Awareness month. We provide the materials and mail them to the restaurants.
This campaign is in its fourth year and has shown marked growth every year. Last year, we reached more than 7 million people using over 900 restaurants. This year, we are going to reach even more, with over 1400 restaurants participating in 4 countries—the United States, Canada, Turkey, and Italy. We have plans to expand this Campaign even further next year.
