January 5th, 7PM – "De-stressing Your Life and the Importance of Having Realistic New Year's Resolutions"

Ellen Bernstein, CHHC, A.D.D.P. www.NurtureYourselfNaturally.com

Ellen is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and received her training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Columbia University. Through this program, she was trained in over 100 different dietary theories, combining the traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the glycemic index, raw foods, blood type and many others. She loves working with men and women to help develop a personalized "roadmap to health" that suits each one’s lifestyle preference, unique body and the busy lives we all lead.  Eating healthy food and slowing down to take care of one’s self can nourish and give each of us more health and energy than you ever thought possible.

She also completed her Dietetic Internship with Virginia State University. During this time she found her passion for helping anyone that must follow restrictive diets for chronic kidney disease, food allergies and those who suffer from inflammatory bowel diseases such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (I.B.S.), Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s disease.  She stays active in the local chapters of the American Dietetic Association, delivers meals for Meals on Wheels and serves on the Board of Gluten Intolerance Group of Richmond.
