I was walking down this street in a small town in northern Idaho . My two best friends, my mother and I were looking for a place to have breakfast before we went horse back riding. I looked over at this old building with a beautiful lush green courtyard and I saw a large green sign. This green sign said to my amazement “SERVES GLUTEN FREE ”. I told my mother and we all went inside. As we walked in we saw delicious looking pastries. On the counter there were cookies, brownies and scones! They were all gluten free! And they were amazing. Even my two BFFS who are not GF thought the scones were fantastic, better than any scones they had that were made out of wheat flour.

While my friends and I were eating my mom talked to the owner about Gluten free food and GIG . He told her that they had a gluten free dinner menu. I was so excited that I told them we needed to go there for dinner. So we decided on our way home we would stop there for dinner. Their menu was amazing it had three full pages of GF Italian dishes. We all ordered gluten free. Everything there was amazing! I ate so much food. This place had the best Italian food I had ever had! They even had delicious GF desserts! I had the chocolate mousse which was so amazing. This place was so wonderful and unexpected. Everyone who is on a gluten free diet needs to go there!

Nappakao is a great Thai restaurant. They are very nice. They make delicious Pad Thai (a sweet rice noodle dish) and almost everything they have can be made gluten free. The first time we went, we took a GF menu card from Triumph Dining (www.triumphdining.com), it really helped them understand.
Nappakao is in Juanita Village at 9745 NE 117th Lane, Kirkland, WA. 98034

I don't know how may of you already know this, but for those of you who don't, P.F. Chang's is a Chinese restaurant that has and AMAZING gluten free menu. I have a hard time finding Chinese restaurants that don't cross contaminate or accidentally put wheat into my food. P.F. Chang's is one that I always feel 100% safe at though and I know they know what they are doing. They have a wide selection of gluten free foods as well as a gluten free dessert. They tend to be more in the city but the trip is definitely worth it. P.F. Chang's is my favorite restaurant, and my family loves it too. TAGS also had a meeting there on February 1st this year! Check it out!

My family and I went to this awesome restaurant the other day. It's called Buenos Aires Grill and it's in downtown Seattle. If you like steak, this place is awesome! They answered all my mom's questions and there was a lot of foods I could choose from which was nice! The food was amazing and everyone should try it!

TAGS had our first meeting at Garlic Jim's. I have to say, it was delicious! I didn't realize how much I have missed being able to order a regular pizza at a normal, everyday place! They have a large variety or toppings and sauces that people with gluten intolerances can have. While not all Garlic Jim's stores carry them yet, the ones that do tend to sell out. I would highly recommend their pizza to anyone with Celiac or a gluten intolerance. It tastes normal and looks normal too. It's a great treat that is now one of my favorites. Check to see if a Garlic Jim's near you offers gluten-free pizzas too by going to their website, www.garlicjims.com
Enjoy!
