Celiac Kids Club
Join
the Celiac Kids' Club and receive the Celiac Kids' Club magazine, written by 10-year old Calli, and her mother, Victoria. This mother-daughter editorial team from Colorado approached GIG with the idea of publishing a quarterly magazine that educates children with gluten intolerances on safe alternatives for gluten-free foods in an entertaining and fun way, through recipes, games and activities.
Calli and her mother write every story, including the many adventures of a celiac mouse named Swheats who relates to the children and helps them learn that they don't have to feel inferior for eating differently. Calli bases Swheats’ stories on her own experiences and those of her three sisters – all of whom have
celiac disease
.
